Radiation measurement

Measuring various types of radioactivity, including precise measurements and on-site spatial dose measurements.

Following the Great East Japan Earthquake and the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, contamination of soil and other materials by radioactive substances has occurred, increasing the necessity for radiation measurement in various situations. At Kureha Analysis Center Co., Ltd., we promptly respond to the measurement of ambient radiation levels on-site and conduct precise measurements using germanium semiconductor detectors. 【Features】 ■ Ambient Radiation Levels - On-site measurements using survey meters ■ Germanium Semiconductor Detectors - Analysis of exhaust gases, dust, ash, sludge, - Melted sludge, fly ash - Factory wastewater, soil, drinking water, food, industrial products, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Radiation measurement

Measurement of ambient dose rate using a survey meter! Conducted according to the guidelines for measuring radioactivity concentration and other methods.

Our radiation analysis department is accredited by ISO/IEC 17025. We have offices nationwide, and our specialized staff handle everything from sample collection to analysis in-house. We conduct measurements of ambient dose rates using survey meters in accordance with guidelines for measuring radioactivity concentration and other methods. We perform radioisotope analysis using gamma-ray spectrometry with germanium semiconductor detectors. Our germanium semiconductor detectors are owned by us and are accredited as a testing laboratory by the Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment. Radiation measurement

Measurement of spatial radiation levels! Quick analysis allows for preliminary results to be available on the same day to three days after sample arrival.

Following the accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, there are concerns about radiation contamination of soil, sludge, feed, and food (beef, rice, tea) in various regions. In response to this situation, our company is conducting radiation measurement services to support your peace of mind and safety. We measure ambient radiation levels and analyze the radioactivity of samples for each nuclide (e.g., Iodine-131, Cesium-134, Cesium-137, etc.). With rapid analysis, we can provide preliminary results within the same day to three days after the samples arrive. 【Measurement Targets】 ■ Food (beef, seafood, milk, rice, tea, and others), drinking water, feed, soil, leaf mold, soot, sludge, etc. ■ Measurement of radioactive substances in samples by nuclide (e.g., Cesium-137, Cesium-134, Iodine-131, etc.) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
